About REO America

REO America is a service provider for delinquent and defaulted real estate loans and tax liens, as well as REO (real estate owned). We provide the investment management of these assets from pre-purchase due diligence, through acquisitions, performance tracking, collections, foreclosure, title clearing, renovations, and liquidation. In addition to managing these investments for our institutional clients, we manage our own portfolio. We believe this not only aligns our interests with our clients, but also keeps us innovating new strategies. REO America has over 30 years of combined experience in servicing underperforming receivables associated with real estate. The principal of the Company managed a tax lien investment fund for eight years before starting REO America. The strategies employed there increased the portfolio’s gross yield by 2% and reduced costs by 50 basis points. Our experienced is recognized inside and outside the industry as evidenced by our two engagements as an expert witness for tax lien services related lawsuits. The Company is focused upon executing strategies to meet the goals of its clients. We strive to create efficiencies in historically inefficient markets in order to enhance our clients’ returns. REMIS is just one way we have streamlined communications and information sharing. The system allows all associates who interact with a property to access and share information at anytime convenient to the person, which is essential for managing assets across the country. There is no limit to our services or investments related real estate; however, we specialize in the turn-around of underperforming assets. We create value and income by repositioning properties and portfolios. Our services cover all property types, including those needing environmental clean-ups. Our own portfolio consists of single family residence, apartment complexes, retail, and mixed use properties. We invest in long-term hold properties as well as foreclosure, fix-n-flip assets. While our primary experience has been in tax liens and REO we desire to venture into loan servicing for underperforming loan pools. The loan market is much larger and the foreclosures more secure, but the margins are smaller. Our efficiencies in servicing the more complex assets have prepared us to service the tighter margin loans.
